Working Group

The scope of work for the working group includes:

• Engaging national and local stakeholders;

• Influencing policies on clean cooking;

• Building the evidence base for the benefits of clean stoves and fuels;

• Promoting international standards and rigorous testing protocols; and

• Enhancing monitoring and evaluation.

The scope of work for the working group includes:

• Creating innovative distribution models to reach a wide variety of consumers;

• Supporting local production;

• Attracting more finance and investment into the sector;

• Increasing access to carbon finance and enhancing market intelligence; and

• Creating inclusive value-chains – especially the participation of women and youths.

The scope of work for the working group includes:

• Creating awareness;

• Understanding and motivating potential users;

• Providing consumer finance; and

• Developing partnerships with consumer organisations such as women groups, governmental programmes etc.

• Advocacy visits to donor agencies;

• Mobilize financing for NACC activities;

• Attracting more investment into the sector;

• Develop resource mapping document;

• Create profile of partners;

• Develop a national needs assessment for implementation of clean cookstoves in Nigeria
