The Steering committee of the Nigerian Alliance for Clean Cookstoves has announced the official date for the Clean Cooking Forum, 2016. The two-day Clean Cooking Energy Forum will hold on March 15 and 16, 2016.
As exciting as the 2015 Forum, the 2016 event will engage stakeholders on strengthening supply chain for clean cooking energy solutions; building an enabling policy landscape; creating demand for cleaner fuels and stoves; and bringing the clean cooking industry value chain together.
The 2015 Forum had notable Speakers which include Laurentia Laraba Mallam, Former Minister of Environment, Mr. Dayo Adeshina, President, Nigeria Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association (NLPGA), Mrs Nkechi Obi, Executive Vice Chairman, Techno Oil Limited, Benedict Oji, President, Gas to Health Initiative and a host of others!
A great experience, some participants noted as follows:
“Thanks for all the efforts. The conference was timely and I hope Nigerians will embrace the technology. Thanks” – Benedicta Daber
“It was such an illuminating and productive event. Congratulations to ICEED and the Nigerian Alliance for a job well done. The next stage is to push for the government and other stakeholders to walk the talk!” – Stanley Ijeoma
“We learnt a few things and I think the organisers did very well. We were there as an NGO exploring clean energy solutions to poverty, and am sure our women and youth entrepreneurs will benefit from the contacts made and lessons learnt at the forum” – Ruth Ataguba
Clean Cooking Forum 2016 promises to be even more exciting with more participation from several stakeholders. Save the date, mark your calendar; you don’t want to miss it!
Please inform interested participants about the venue and any other commitment required for participation. Thank you.
