Nigeria Clean Cooking Forum 2017 – Save the Date!

The Nigerian Alliance for Clean Cookstoves in partnership with the Ministry of Environment has announced October 19, 2017 as the official date for this year’s clean cooking forum! The Forum which is organized by the NACC and the FME in collaboration with other stakeholders will focus on scaling up domestic production. This is in line with the Federal Government’s policy option of promoting “Made in Nigeria” products.
Discussions will revolve around; what government can do to stimulate local production of clean cookstoves; how to strengthen the LPG market through public awareness for LPG; Expanding the market for clean cookstoves through standards and labelling; and promoting Safe Access to Fuels and Energy (SAFE) in the North East. This will help develop local content, create employment and empower people as well as enhance the economy. Save the date, you don’t want to miss this!
