The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (GACC), with financial support from Shell Corporation (Shell) is providing support to grow the early stage, for-profit clean cookstoves enterprises in Nigeria through its Catalytic Small Grant (CSG) program. Three enterprises emerged as winners of the Catalytic Small Grant Program (CSG) in Nigeria among 57 applications received by GACC.
The enterprises are Roshan Global Services Ltd, Nenu Engineering Ltd, and Sosai Renewables Energies Company. These companies were selected through a competitive process and an in-depth on-site due diligence was also conducted. The size of the grant for the 3 enterprises is approximately $110,000 for a period of 1 year.

The CSG is one of GACC financial windows aimed at creating a thriving clean cookstoves market in their priority countries of which Nigeria is one. The grant will support machinery/factory upgrade and equipment purchase, marketing activities, recruitment of management teams as well as working capital for the enterprises among others.
The GACC will continue to provide grant management support to the grantees.
