The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (GACC) in partnership with Tata trust, Teri and other stakeholders are organizing the Clean Cooking Forum 2017 from October 24-28 in New Delhi, India, with the theme “Driving Demand, Delivering Impact” of cleaner and more efficient cookstoves and fuels.
The Clean Cooking Forum will bring together over 500 global leaders and practitioners from business, finance, civil society, the UN, government, and academia that is working to accelerate the production, deployment, and use of cleaner, more efficient cookstoves and fuels to share best-practices, explore innovative approaches and financing mechanisms, and help forge new partnerships.
The first three (3) days will be informative sessions, networking events, and technology demonstrations. During the last two (2) days, the Alliance will offer participants a range of site visits to provide first-hand knowledge of the latest Indian business models, cookstove designs, and consumer LPG enterprises.
The Forum marks an important milestone for the Alliance as stakeholders come together to share their efforts to drive demand and achieve greater impacts for women’s empowerment, environment, livelihoods, and health. For information about the forum click here
